hey guys! i’m opening some emergency commissions again bc i’m in a financial pinch. ;u; i have barely any money and i need to be able to buy art supplies and stuff for class. unfortunately i can’t hold a job during the school year because i really, really need to focus on my classes! so my only source of income are commissions. my anxiety is making it really hard for me to do day-to-day things and i just don’t really know what else to do.

right now i’m opening four different kinds of commissions, though we can discuss other styles if you want! please check the images for the prices, but here’s some more explanation about what i’m offering:

sketches: exactly what they sound like! sketches will be drawn traditionally and color, if you choose to get it, will be done digitally.

sketch pages: these are really fun! basically, you give me anything you want - a movie, a game, refs of your oc - and i’ll do either a half or full sheet of little fun sketches!

comics: these are my favorite thing to do. you can dictate exactly what you want each panel to look like and say, or you can just give me a vague theme, or anything in between!

full pieces: by this i just mean anything that’s nice and polished with full color and stuff! the price on a piece like this will vary a lot, so please let me know what you want and we’ll work out the price.

Hi all! If you could take the time to look over this request and consider participating in this study I’m conducting, I would really appreciate it!

In terms of requirements for participation, the only things I ask are that you: are 18 years of age or older, consent to me using your narrative for my thesis (I’d be more than happy to go over what this involves if you want to know), identify as queer in terms of your gender and/or sexuality, and that you are not currently a student at Bennington College. In the way of confidentiality, no one except for you and me will be able to identify you from your narrative. Your name will not be used, and I will change any elements in your narrative that would indicate your identity (names, locations, etc).

For my undergraduate thesis, I am studying narratives about identity, specifically from queer individuals. I know that the word “queer” has many different meanings, many of them being subjective. To identify oneself as queer often requires a personal explanation, as opposed to identities that are expressed with a single culturally established word. I am interested in investigating what different people think makes them queer and how their queerness relates to the world at large and its social mores about gender and sexuality.

Here’s how you can help me. I plan to collect 10-15 narratives about what being queer means to you: this can mean a coming out story, a story that exemplifies your queerness, or any kind of narrative that is central to your identity as a queer person. The point is that I want to hear you talk about your shade of queerness and what it means to you, all relating to a specific incident in your life. Ideally, these narratives would be approximately 250-1500 words in length. This prompt is intentionally open-ended and vague, as I want you to tell me a story that is meaningful to you! I’m looking to have these submissions in by March 1st!

Hi. I’m a disabled woman and I’m trying to get health insurance so I can get the care that I need and hopefully be able to work again so I can support myself.

I found out I can get health insurance through the University I attend for like $950 per term. Would anyone be willing to donate and/or reblog this so I can raise money? I need $950 by April 1st.

I have endometriosis which makes me bed ridden most of the day due to back and stomach problems. The gynecologist I talked to wanted me to get an IUD but I can’t do that right now because of my PTSD that was worsened when I was sexually assaulted a year ago. And also I’m afraid anyways because I’ve gone completely crazy when I’ve been on birth control in the past. I’m considering going in for a laparoscopy which is a type of mild surgery and would be a way for me to get treatment without having to take hormones. 

but basically, I need insurance so I can talk to professionals and figure out what my options are and how to get better.

FUNDRAISER HERE: Mr. Teeks Would Appreciate Your Help!

Mr. Teeks is an orange 7-year old domestic tabby. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old. His favourite things are sleeping on your face, playing fetch with rubber balls, and purring ecstatically. He often acts as a cat-parrot and sits on your shoulder while you watch television.

Mr. Teeks is suffering from something known as Horner’s Syndrome. It is partial facial paralysis caused by compression of a nerve in the brain. In cats, there is almost always an underlying cause. Mr. Teeks has a chronic sneeze. His sinuses have become infected, and this could be a cause. He is on a 4-week run of antibiotics, but needs more diagnostic tests.

I’ve recently had to quit my job and to get into school, and am not getting student loans. I have $23 in my bank account and a maxed-out credit card. I have no way of helping my cat.

I am not ready to sit back and watch my cat slowly die. Any help would be appreciated! Even a donation of $1 will be able to help Mr. Teeks!

Hello. Some of you may know me as Shelly. I’m a transgender woman who, last night, was outed to my conservative Christian parents. They have cut me off from the internet in an attempt to prevent me from accessing the “evil influences” they believe have sent me so far from their definition of righteousness. This is naturally a less than ideal situation for me and I need to escape my predicament. I currently live in Houston, Texas, and am now desperately searching for someone to move in with. APPEARANCE: Nailla stands about 40 inches tall and weighs around 35 pounds. She has a medium skin tone, brown eyes and black curly hair.

CIRCUMSTANCES: A woman entered the school and told school officials her name was “Tiffany,” and that she needed to take her daughter to breakfast. The woman then allegedly signed Nailla out of the office and took her away at approximately 8:50 AM on January 14, 2013.  The woman was dressed in a traditional Muslim over-garment and Niqab. She has her face covered and only her eyes showing. She’s wearing gloves. She’s wearing all black. She has something white on her arm and she has a long black umbrella. The surveillance camera shows them walking through the hallway to get to the door. The next camera picks up and she’s putting her umbrella up.
